Biologic Width Infringement: Commonly Ignored - Case Studies

Tooth pain is not always endodontic pain

These cases show common instances of compromised biologic width which can confuse and complicate a dental treatment plan. Ideal restoration of dental tooth structure must consider the biology and health of the periradicular attachment and associated tissues. In future instructional submissions, topics such as occlusion and myofascial relationships to dental disease and pain will be addressed.
