Learn how to definitively assess the prognosis of a cracked tooth
In this demonstration a maxillary second bicuspid was referred to the author because the patient was having discomfort to temperature and pressure which was localized to a maxillary second bicuspid. The referring dentist noted an old marginated amalgam restoration with crack lines in the remaining natural tooth structure. A crown-root fracture was suspected.
