Biography

Dr. Herbranson is a dedicated clinical endodontist who has been in practice for over 4o years. He has an extensive background in film and digital imaging and developed the unique processes and methodology for capturing images of human and dental anatomy used for the production of digital atlases. He has developed numerous imaging and photographic products for use with clinical microscopes. He has contributed to numerous text books and journals. Dr. Herbranson is a frequent speaker and educator at universities and conferences on the subjects of integration of new technology into dentistry, the use of software and computers in presentations, surgical microscope photography, and endodontic techniques. He has been privileged to performed endodontic procedure on a variety of exotic animal including tigers, leopards, monkeys, a hyena, a sun bear and once did a dental exam on a killer whale. Dr. Herbranson earned a Bachelor of Science from La Sierra College, a Doctoral of Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, and a Masters of Science in Endodontics from Loma Linda University. He was awarded Distinguished Alumnus from Loma Linda University in 2007 and Master of Innovation from the Academy of Microscope Enhanced Dentistry in 2008. He is currently in private practice in San Leandro, California.
