Description:
Art, science and utilization of clearing teeth for evaluation of endodontic anatomy and failed endodontic treatments. The program will have a case presentation demonstrating the value of post operative clearing of a failed endodontic case.

Objectives
- Discuss the history of clearing and some of the challenges and methods of the past
- Expose the concepts and science of clearing/diaphonization . The new methods available and limitations
- Show a method of photographing clear tooth specimens.

Biography
Dr. Barrington received his DDS from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1996. He has lectured to a variety of dental societies and study clubs and has written and co-written a number of articles for various dental journals. Dr. Barrington is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He is an associate member of the American Academy of Endodontists. He is an adjunct clinical professor in the AEGD program at the A&M College of dentistry. He has a patent pending in clearing and diaphonization. He has maintained a practice in Waxahachie, Texas for the past 18 years.
